France Heartistry Experience 

Lyn Johnson and her team invite you to attend an International Heartistry Experience in the South of France! Our week will be filled with a delightful mixture of teaching sessions on Hospitality, hands-on practice, exploration of the local town and surroundings, field trips, opportunities for spiritual renewal and plenty of time to get to know attendees from different parts of the world.

  • Travel - Cross-cultural Hospitality at home and abroad
  • To-Think and To-Do - How will you think differently and what will you implement at home?

We will also:

  • Visit famous Uzes Market
  • Have dinner in a medieval town
  • Visit the Museum of the Desert and learn about the history of the Huguenots
  • Serve a local community through organizing a special celebration event
  • Enjoy plenty of surprises! 

Who is invited: Men, women and couples are invited to apply to attend the Heartistry Experience. The numbers are limited, so the slots will be taken on a first come first served basis.  There is an application form with a non-refundable deposit of $250 that will be due when applying.  Please email lynj@inst.net for more details and for an application form.

Accommodation:  Dudley and Janet Weiner are long time friends of Brett and Lyn and are missionaries with Youth With a Mission.  They live in a chateau in the quaint town of Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort, near Nîmes in the south of France.  They host teams of students who study in their Discipleship Training School, but have graciously opened their home to us for the Heartistry Experience.  The accommodations will be simple with attendees sharing a room and bathroom with up to 5 others and sleeping on a bunk bed.  (Think upscale camping, not a fancy B&B!) Couples may be able to book accommodation in a hotel in the village for an additional cost and can discuss these options with the team.

Cost:  Attendees will be responsible for all their travel costs to Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort.  The Hospitality Seminar will be $1,950 plus an application fee of $250. The fee includes accommodation (very simple/basic), meals including some gourmet dinners in excellent local restaurants, tourist excursions, training manual, etc.  There is an initial non-refundable deposit of$250 and the full amount of the seminar must be paid by a month before the event begins.

Travel:  Attendees will need to organize their own transport to Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort.  Travel details will be sent with the application form.

What to bring:  A detailed packing list will be sent later, but attendees need to limit their luggage to one small case that they can carry themselves.  Public transport will be used and the smaller the case, the easier it is to manage! The dress code will be casual, comfortable clothing for changeable weather.
